Our courting days were spent at Cromer, Norfolk in 1951 ,prior to me leaving for my two year National Service. Bren & I would spend many happy days together enjoying each others company. One late evening as we sat on Cromer seafront I sang "Danny Boy, Londonderry Aire" to her, that particular song was to stay with us for the next 60 years. Today as I face the world alone without her that melody always rolls back the years bringing back so many beautiful memories.
